Our Rules

Our rules are created for the benefit of our anglers and the protection of fish stocks. We, therefore, take a grim view of any breeches of the rules.

· Barbless hooks only.
· Maximum hook size 12.
· No floating bait.
· No floating pole
· Highfield Pellets only (available on site).
· Fishing from designated swims only.
· No braided lines.
· Groundbait feeder& cup only to a maximum of 1/2 Kilo.
· No cat meat.
· All nets must be dipped.
· Only keep nets provided by the fishery may be used for matches.
· No nut baits.
· No litter, No exceptions.
· No fixed rigs.
· No trout pellets.
· Keepnets for matches only.
· No tins on complex.
· Highfield staff only to weigh in.
· No dogs.
· Rods must not be left unattended.
· No splash wagler.
· All fish to be landed using a net.
· Under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
